Norboard Implements Fundamental Changes In Format Of Annual General Meeting Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

Norboard, a global manufacturer of wood-based panels, has announced on Thursday April 23, 2020 that the company has decided to make fundamental changes in the format of its Annual General Meeting due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.

According to the details released by the PR News Wire News Agency, the company has taken the step to ensure the safety and security of its employees, directors, stake holders and board members from the pandemic.

The upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Norbaord is scheduled to held on May 6, 2020 at 10:00am sharp Eastern Time. According to the new format of the Annual General Meeting (AGM), all the all the employers, shareholders and directors would not be able to attend the annual meeting in person to comply with the strict social distancing rules due to Covid-19 pandemic.

However, all the employees and shareholders may participate in the annual general meeting via Webcast or Phone. All the shareholders and employee of the company can easily submit and complete a voting instruction form.

The company has further said that it will regularly monitor the recent happenings and developments regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic and the company will further advise its employees for their safety.
