Guaranteed Rate Donates Over 4.2 Million Meals To Support People Experiencing Food Insecurity Amid Covid-19 Pandemic

Guaranteed Rate, a leading public charity company that provides critical financial support to needy people, has announced on Friday April 24, 2020 that the company has donated over 4.2 Million Meals across the country to support people having food insecurity during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

According to the PR News Wire News Agency, the company will donate the free meals across the United States to support the needy and poor people of the country.

The employees of the leading charity-based companies have contributed over $600,000 to donate free meals, including a dollar-for-dollar match that helps to surpass it fundraising goal.

Guaranteed Rate Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Victor Ciadelli said, “The COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating to so many individuals and communities.”

“After seeing all the heartbreaking news stories and the stark images of empty food pantries around the country at this unprecedented time of need, we wanted to do something to help, and we wanted to do it right now,” Ciadelli further added.

“We kicked off a food drive and set an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 in one week. Through the heart and generosity of our employees around the country, we blew past our goal, raising over $600,000. This contribution will provide over 4.2 million meals to food pantries and homeless shelters around the country to help those suddenly in dire need.” Ciadelli continued.
