Expected Plot of Letterkenny Season 11

Season 10 finishes with the Hicks driving about town inebriated and calling each other by imagined names. They eventually get the Skids and hockey players to come over and help them collect stones as the rest of Letterkenny goes about its business. Aly and Bianca are also leaving the hockey team in pursuit of greater possibilities.

Outside of Letterkenny, the Hicks are expected to confront “tough individuals” in Season 11. Dierks’ muscular (but naïve) city cousins may get involved, or a new gang could develop, as they have in the past.

Letterkenny Season 11 Release Date

Because of Marie Fred’s entrance in season 10, we may see more of the French Canadians and their rivalry with the English Canadians in future seasons.

Given Wayne and Rosie’s recent success, we might expect a little trouble in paradise in our hero’s personal life as well.

Letterkenny Backdrop

Letterkenny is set in a tiny Canadian town of the same name, and most episodes begin with the same text: “Letterkenny has a population of 5000 people. These are their difficulties.” Wayne and Katy are siblings who manage a small farm and produce market with the aid of Wayne’s buddies Daryl and Squirrely Dan.

The “hicks,” the out-of-towners who make up the local ice hockey team, the town’s closeted pastor, the drug addicts (the “skids”), inhabitants of the adjacent First Nation reserve (the “natives”), the local Mennonites, and the Québécois are all featured in episodes about small-town life. Plots frequently focus around Wayne protecting his image as “Letterkenny’s toughest guy,” the exploits of the town’s hockey team, the skids’ attempts to defraud both Letterkenny residents and locals, and Wayne’s dating life after dumping his high school girlfriend who cheated on him.

One of the show’s recurring jokes is that practically every character has the capacity to think rapidly and come up with a constant torrent of wordplay and puns, as well as have nuanced views on worldly matters, subverting the common cliche of small-town people being less clever than others.

Production

The series is shot in Sudbury, Ontario. Letterkenny is Crave’s first original series, which debuted on February 7, 2016. Letterkenny Problems, a short-form web series made by Keeso and posted on YouTube was released in 2013, served as the inspiration for the programme for the same. Keeso and Dales traded comic one-liners while standing in various spots in the first Letterkenny Problems. At the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards in 2014, Letterkenny Problems was nominated for Best Original Fiction Program or Series Created for Digital Media. The fictitious town of Letterkenny shown in the series is not based on the Renfrew County town of the same name.

Tierney and Michael Dowse are also working on the series production. Tierney also stars with Michelle Mylett, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, Lisa Codrington, Alexander De Jordy, Kaniehtiio Horn, and K. Trevor Wilson in the series as Pastor Glen.
