Is Riverdale Season 7 in the works?
The show has not received an official renewal yet, but the fans should not feel bad because, during Season 4, KJ Apa, who plays Archie Andrews in the show, confirmed in an interview that the show is renewed for the next 3 years which means we can expect Season 7. The CW renewed the show for season 6 in February 2021, we can expect the same this year around the same month.
Riverdale Season 7 Release Date
The CW has not revealed the schedule yet. Fans can expect the release of Riverdale Season 7 around the fall of 2022. As the show is on the mainstay to release schedule since the second season, we can expect the show to premier around October 2022 and release on Netflix sometime around 2023.

Riverdale Season 7 Cast
The show stars Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews who portrayed as Archie’s father, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, and Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, the actress started her acting career with the respective television show.
Further, Marisol Nichols portrayed Hermione Lodge and Mädchen Amick as Alice Cooper, they played the role of Veronica and Betty’s mothers, Ross Butler played Reggie Mantle Daniel Yang as Dilton Doiley and Cody Kearsley as Moose Mason, respectively.
Casey Cott plays Kevin Keller, who was the first gay character in the Archie comics. Later on, in the second season, Mark Consuelos signed to play Veronica Lodge’s father as Hiram Lodge.
Also, Charles Melton took over the role of Reggie from Ross Butler in season 2 as he went back to his schedule of another series, 13 Reasons Why.

The sixth season of Riverdale has a rating of 0.07 in the group of 18-49 demographic. Compared to last season (season5), the rating is down by 35% in the demographic and the watching of the show is 36% down.
