Though Netflix hasn’t confirmed a particular release date for Ozark Season 4 Part 2, predictions say it’ll come later this year. Possibly after May 31.

This allows the show to be a part of two different Emmy periods. The eligibility period for the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be for programs that aired between June 1, 2021, and May 31, 2022. “Hanging episodes” is the general rule for any series with a season that overlaps two distinct Emmy seasons.

Meanwhile, fans are already convinced that Julia Garner is due for her third Emmy for her performance in the seventh episode (Sanctified) of Season 4 of Ozark. Garner has already won two Emmys for her role as Ruth Langmore.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Filming

Fans won’t have to wait long for the next installment of Season 4. The filming began in November 2020, lasted for almost a year, and the team wrapped up Season 4 in October 2021. Bateman, Mark Williams, Patrick Markey, John Shiban, Chris Mundy, and Bill Dubuque are executive producers of the MRC Television series. This season also marked a comeback for Mundy as the showrunner and writer. Linney is also a Season 4 co-executive producer.

Who will be in the cast of Ozark Season 4 Part 2?

Jason Bateman and Laura Linney will, of course, reprise their roles as Marty and Wendy. In addition, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, and Julia Garner will return for the forthcoming episodes. Jessica Frances Dukes’s Maya Miller, Damian Young’s Jim Rattelsdorf, Alfonso Herrera’s Javi, and Adam Rothenberg’s private investigator character Mel Sattem are all expected to return for Ozark Season 4 Part 2. The ones who aren’t most likely to return are couples Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) and Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan), as they were murdered in Season 4 Part 1.
