The production of the film started back in March 2020 but it had undergone several delays due to the pandemic. And now, it’s finally releasing tomorrow.

Moonfall Plot
The film will be about a mysterious force that knocks on the moon which is about to go on a collision course with life around the Earth.
Just a few weeks before the impact, the world is on the point of destruction. The NASA executive and former astronaut are convinced to save the planet as she knows how to save it but only Brian Harper who is an astronaut and K.C.Houseman the conspiracy theorist trust her.
The hidden heroes will solve an impossible last-minute mission into space leaving the people they love just to save the planet and the lives of the people living on it only to find that our Moon is not what we think.

The trailer of the upcoming film was released by Lionsgate who is responsible for the film’s distribution.
The trailer got released on January 6, 2022. It starts with the narration of an old man who is remembering the first moon landing of 1969. He asserts that Apollo 11 lost contact with the Earth and the pilgrimage is not real.
The man believes there is a lot more to learn about the Moon and he ends with a message saying that this will be the Earth’s sixth death.

Moonfall is all set to release in theaters on February 4, 2022, and is one of the most costly, independent films ever produced. You can watch it in your nearby theaters, whether it will release digitally or not is still not confirmed.
