It’s like laughing at serious moments. Netflix came up with such a show on May 29, 2020, Space Force. The show is renewed with the second season which is also ready to premiere soon on Netflix.

Space Force Season 2 Release Date
The second season is all set to release on February 18, 2022.
The filming began in May 2021 and was wrapped up in June.

Space Force season 2 cast
The show stars Steve Carell as Mark Naird and the show seems incomplete without him
He talked to Collider about his shows The Office and Space Force, while comparing his characters from the two shows he said, “He’s so different from Michael Scott. He’s almost the opposite, I would say, of Michael Scott.” He further added, “Michael is such an incompetent and terrible leader and a person who can be persuaded out of his opinion in two seconds. Mark Naird is all about being a great leader and a person of integrity, and if he has a character flaw it’s inflexibility.”
The show will also cast Lisa Kudrow as Maggie, John Malkovich as Dr. Mallory, F**k Tony by Ben Schwartz, Erin by Diana Silvers, Angela by Tawny Newsome, Chan by Jimmy O Yang, Naird’s assistant Brad by Don Lake, Bobby by Alex Sparrow, General Kick Grabaston by Noah Emmerich, Kelly by Jessica St Clair, Ther Roy Wood Jr as Colonel Bert Mellows), Jane Lynch as Chief of Naval Operations, Dan Bakkedahl as Secretary of Defense and Patrick Warburton a commandant of the Marine Corps, Fred Willard played Mark’s father Fred who passed away so the role is not finalized.
Space Force Season 2 Plot
The plot of the story revolves around General Mark Naird and his space crew. In the last season, the whole crew was in quite a pickle. After Angela and her team had yielded the Chinese moon base inoperable they discovered that the same has been done to them. Also, Naird has nearly ousted from his job and the Grabaston took over the proceedings but the four-star general did not stick around for long to catch all the actions in the control room instead he rushed to rescue his daughter Erin in the helicopter. His wife Maggie also escaped from prison along with her new girlfriend. The upcoming season will come with more fun and drama. You will see Mark back to Space Force HQ after a melodramatic escalation on the moon with the United States disabling the Chinese base and vice versa. They’re all now as they are abandoned and Mark is headed back to save the day.
