Good Girls Season 3 Recap
The viewers must be disappointed as the last season, Season 3, ended up with five episodes due to the pandemic situation. At the end of Season 3, Phoebe eventually gets her opening and appears well on her way to infiltrate the trio. She is the smartest opponent yet.
In an interview with Refinery29, Jenna Bans, the executive producer, described Phoebe as, “She has a lot of, as we all do, deep-seated issues from her adolescence that maybe she hasn’t really dealt with until now. And I think meeting Beth and the women sort of brings all of that up in a really sort of interesting, psychological way. She definitely becomes sort of obsessed with them and obsessed with their idea of friendship, which is something she never had. And I think that will be a weakness for her going forward.”
Beth and her husband Dean buy a spa business to use for money laundering. Rio is still in the picture and he hints that she won’t be in control until he’s dead. These two are on bad terms but according to Jenna Bans, “We will see them working together more. That doesn’t mean it will be completely harmonious. There will be a big complication thrown in the mix when we meet someone who may make the audience realize that Rio’s criminal enterprise doesn’t begin and end with just Rio.”
