The film is directed by Jason Moore and the screenplay is by Mark Hammer and Liz Meriwether.

Shotgun Wedding Release Date
Shotgun Wedding, is all set to premiere on June 29, 2022. The film will see a theatrical release. As the film is all about a destination wedding, it will be a great watch in the summer. The film will arrive a few months after Jennifer Lopez’s another romcom, Marry Me.
The filming was planned to start in Summer 2019 but was rescheduled to February 2022. The shooting took place in Boston and the Dominican Republic. On April 22, 2021, Jennifer Lopez who will be seen as the lead, announced on Instagram that the principal photography of the film has wrapped up.

The upcoming film is a tale of the wedding day with drama. A couple gathers up their loved ones and plans a destination wedding but are stressed between the family members pompous. Is it too late to call it a stop? Yes, or No? for this you have to watch the film. Also, The film is full of action just like typical romcoms. Get excited for the upcoming mess which will be all ready to make you laugh.
The official synopsis says, “Darcy and Tom get their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple gets cold feet but suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken, hostage. The couple must work together to save their loved ones if they don’t end up killing each other first.

Shotgun Wedding Cast
The upcoming film will star the rom-com queen Jennifer Lopez. The actress is returning with romantic comedies this year, not just one but two, Shotgun Wedding and Marry Me. She will be portraying Darcy in the upcoming film and opposite her will be seen Josh Duhamel as Tom. He was a late addition to the cast. You will also see Sônia Braga, Jennifer Coolidge as Carol, Lenny Kravitz as Sean, Cheech Marin as Robert, D’Arcy Carden as Harriet, Selena Tan as Marge, Desmin Borges as Ricky, Alex Mallari Jr. as Dog-Face, Callie Hernandez as Jamie, Steve Coulter as Larry and María del Mar Fernández as Amanda.
