The Subversion, which was released back in 2018 was a huge success. So much so that it had won many awards, Best Film Orient Express in 39th Fantasporto Film Festival being one of them. When will The Witch: Part 2 be Released?
The Witch: Part 2 seems to have been renewed and is, reportedly, scheduled to release anytime in mid-2022. However, no release date is confirmed by the production yet.
If you are not aware, The Witch: Part 2 is the second sequel of The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion which was released back in 2018 and was directed by Park Hoon-jung. Several reports suggest that the second part has been named The Collision.
The filming of The Witch: Part 2 was wrapped up in April 2021.

The Witch: Part 2 Cast
The main character of The Witch: Part 2, reportedly, will be played by Cynthia and Kim Da-mi might be seen helming another character. While there is not much information about the sequel yet, we might see Jung Da-eun portraying the girl with long hair, Kim Byeong-ok portraying Police Officer Do, Choi Woo-shik portraying Nobleman, Park Hee-soon as Mr. Choi, Go Min-si as Do Myung-hee, Choi Jung-woo as Teacher Goo, Jo Min-su as Dr. Baek, Lee Joo Won as CEO Sung and Oh Mi-hee as Teacher Goo’s wife.
What will be the plot of The Witch: Part 2?
We can expect that the sequel will reveal Ja Yoon’s ancestors and we might get to learn more about them. If you have watched the first part you would be aware of Ja Yoon visiting Dr. Baek’s sister where she exposes her plan for finding an everlasting solution to her dilemma. A battle between her and a mysterious female with a mark on her face also bothers her. The second part highlights “collusion” which is most likely to be seen in the upcoming part. You may also see Dr. Baek’s sister to be the next main enemy. However, no official synopsis is released by the production yet.
Is there a trailer for The Witch: Part 2?
No. In the absence of an official announcement, it may be too early to ask for a trailer. As the film is scheduled to release in mid-2022, we can expect a trailer in June or July.
