No official release date has been given out for You People as of now. However, one thing is for sure that the movie will release sometime this year only as it’s on Netflix 2022 Movie Preview list. We can expect the release date to be announced in a few days or weeks.
The filming of the film is into its post-production. As per IMDb filming started on October 26, 2021, and ended on December 3rd, 2021. The filming took place in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Though the cast is announced the roles of the respective star are not released yet. You will be seeing Jonah Hill, who is well known for his comedy roles in Accepted (2006), Knocked Up (2007), Superbad (2007), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010), 21 Jump Street (2012), and also This Is the End (2013). The actor has its first Netflix appearance in the limited series Maniac. Furthermore Nia Long will be a part of the upcoming comedy film who has also seen in The Best Man Holiday (2013), Big Momma’s House (2000), and its sequel Big Momma’s House 2, along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus who gave her voice for the animated films like A Bug’s Life (1998), Planes (2013), and Onward (2020). and in 2021, she began portraying Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The rest of the cast will include David Duchovny, Rhea Perlman, Molly Gordon, Bryan Greenberg, Andrea Savage, Lauren London, La La Anthony, Deon Cole, and Emily Arlook have also been cast. The upcoming Netflix Original comedy movie is directed by Kenya Barris and co-written with Jonah Hill.

The upcoming comedy film will revolve around new couples along with their families who are trying to learn modern love and family cultures and some general differences which are faced in a family. The official synopsis according to IDMB says, “Follows a new couple and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations, and generational differences.”
