With only two episodes left, Season 2 of HBO’s Euphoria is almost coming to an end, making the upcoming episodes even more stressful.
Episode 6 was nothing like we imagined. While we were hoping for a wild episode of Maddy and Cassie fighting over Nate, the episode that aired last Sunday saw Fez and Lexi holding hands and singing (darling, darling stand by me), Rue emotionally apologizing to Ali, and the most traumatic scene was Nate pointing a gun at Maddy. The episode ended with Rue’s mom screaming and crying on the phone because Rue wouldn’t get proper rehab treatment.
The promo for Episode 7 has been released, read on to find out more about Euphoria Season 2: Episode 7.

Euphoria Season 2 Episode 7 Plot: What does the trailer say?
The title of Euphoria Season 2 Episode 7 is The Theatre and Its Double, a reference to a book of essays by French poet and playwright Antonin Artaud. This means the whole episode will be centered around Lexi’s play. The promo shows the worried audience’s reactions to Lexi’s play.

Lexi’s Play: What’s it about?
The writers have been building up to Lexi’s act throughout Season 2. Lexi has been observing and writing a play on the people and situations around her. This means it’s about everything that has happened in Euphoria since the first season. Her show features the characters of Euphoria, including Maddy, Lexi, Kat, Nate, Rue, and everyone else at the high school. Her play feels like a ticking time bomb that will explode in the finale. According to the latest teaser released by HBO, we will finally get to witness what Lexi has been up to as she prepares for the opening of her play. In the teaser, Lexi worries, “I’m getting anxious it’s gonna upset people.” Sitting in the audience, Maddy says, “Wait. Is this f***ing play about us?” while Nate is seen sitting with an upset face and tight fist.
Will Fez get killed?
Season two’s surprise fan-favorite, Fezco ‘Fez’ seems to be in trouble in the upcoming episode. Fans have taken over the internet, threatening Euphoria creators and writer Sam Levinson, saying don’t even think about killing off Fez.
As Custer is cooperating with the police to take out Fez and Ashtray for the murder of Mouse, there is no doubt that Fez is in some kind of danger.
What about #Fexi?

In the episode seven teaser, Fez is all dressed up with a bouquet of flowers and a card for Lexi. He tells her on the phone, “Of course, Imma be there,” as she gets ready to open her play at the school. Still, we see another shot of an empty chair and Lexi peeking out through the curtains. Since episode one, writers have been building up ‘fexi’ (Fez and Lexi), so there’s a good chance they’ll do something to play with the brittle hearts of # Fexi fans. Whatever happens, let us pray to dear Lord Euphoria not to put #Fexi in danger.
Maddy, Cassie and Nate: The toxic love triangle
As part of the teaser, we also got a glimpse of Maddy trying to reach out to Cassie, who is hiding behind a door. As of now, Maddy still hasn’t actually confronted Cassi over the whole Nate scene, or else she has done it already but we haven’t seen it. Hopefully, that door-knocking scene is a flashback to the epic Episode 5, where Rue asked Cassie “a quick question.” And we’ll finally get to see Maddy in her full baddy vibes.
