The absurd dark Netflix comedy The End of The F***ing World left with a devastating season two finale on November 4, 2019. The show debuted back in October 2017 and quickly won over its fan base and critics for its depiction of heavy topics with humor.
Adapted from Charles Forsman’s graphic of the same name, The End of The F***ing World’s plot is as intriguing, quirky and ridiculous as its title. A 17-year-old James, a self-proclaimed “psychopath,” decides he wants to kill someone for the first time, and he chooses his classmate Alyssa and kidnaps her for this purpose.
Eventually, he learns more about her, her loneliness, and her troubled family. What starts as a murder plan evolves into a strange friendship between these two on their road trip. Season two opened new doors for this friendship, and fans had high hopes for these teen lovers, but apparently, there is no news of a Season 3.
The abrupt ending of Season 2 puts the potential of The End of The F***ing World Season 3 into the spotlight even more. So, will there be a Season 3 of the Netflix drama?

Nope. There has been no confirmation of a third season of The End of the F***ing World. Neither Netflix nor creator Charlie Covell has plans for a season 3 of the show. When the creator Charlie Covell spoke to Radio Times, she said “I think, for me, that’s it now. Yeah, that’s done. I think to try and eke more out would be wrong, I like where we’ve left it.”
In addition to this, Covell has addressed The End of the F***ing World Season 3 rumors and expressed her disinterest in continuing the show for another season. “I don’t think you’re going to get another series. I think sometimes it’s good to just stop things and I hope when you see the end you’ll agree. I think you can push things but this feels like an actual end. Sorry.” he told NME.
