NBC’s beloved drama This is Us will say farewell this year with its Season 6 finale. As sad as it is to see one of the most heartwarming TV shows ever end, This is Us is taking its sweet time saying goodbye in season 6 with an extra-long break between each episode. This is Us Season 6 debuted this year on January 4. It had barely begun, and it took three weeks to return to the air on February 22, after episode 5, Heart and Soul, aired on February 1, because NBC was broadcasting the Winter Olympics.
The NBC series, which debuted in 2016, has garnered a number of awards and has a large following after five seasons. In May 2021, NBC announced that the sixth season would be the Emmy Awarding Series’ final season.

Last week on This is Us Season 6, Episode 7 titled Our Little Island Girl: Part 2 was all about Beth as it was a follow-up to an episode titled Our Little Island Girl from way back in Season 3. The episode was co-written by Susan Kelechi Watson, who plays Beth and Eboni Freeman. As the episode began, we saw little Beth and her dad, Abe, dancing together on the beach under the sun, and Abe told her how she started dancing even before she could walk. The famous Pearsons’ Thanksgiving dinner was also featured in this episode.
The upcoming episode, Taboo, which is expected to be centered around Rebecca’s big announcement, as she says she has to do a family talk after dinner, promises drama. The teaser also shows Jack and Rebecca before they had children, and she can be seen complaining to Jack about her mother. The timeline appears to be the point where Rebecca begins dating Matt, and when Miguel seems to be telling her something, she appears startled. Perhaps in the next episode, viewers will finally witness Miguel admitting his feelings for Rebecca and how they fell in love.
