Zack’s new upcoming movie Rebel Moon is all set to hit the screens on December 22, 2023. It will be exclusively released on Netflix. But you never know. Army of the Dead was released in theatres on May 14th, just a week before its premiere on Netflix. Similarly, Red Notice followed the same strategy and was released in theatres on November 5, 2022, followed by its release on Netflix right after one week on November 12, 2022.

Who is in the cast of Rebel Moon?
The cast of the movie includes Sofia Boutella as the protagonist of the film playing the role of Kora, the heroine of the film. Ray Fisher will be seen playing the character of Blood Axe, while we will see Djimon Hounsou as General Titus. Ed Skrein replaced Rupert Friend due to his schedule issues and took up the character of Balisarius.
The other cast members are Anthony Hopkins, who has done voice-over for a robot named Jimmy in the film. Ingvar Eggert Sigurdsson plays the role of Hagen. Other characters who will be seen in the film are the female human spider who plays the villain named Harmada; it is not yet clear who portrays this character. Cary Elwes will also be seen in the movie, but his character is not yet revealed. In a recent interview, Elwes said that the movie is going to be epic and that Snyder knows how to pull it off. He stated, “I can’t tell you much, honestly, other than that it’s an epic film. I think that fans just be so excited when they get a chance to see it. It is a huge, huge movie and Zack, as you know, knows how to do epic.”

The story is set in a faraway galaxy; the colony of this edged galaxy is threatened by the armies of Regent Balisarius. They decide to put forward a young lady, Kora, played by Sofia Boutella, who has a mysterious path and is said to be a former member of the Imperium. She comes up with the task of seeking warrior members from nearby planets and making them stand along with her for this war.

Rebel Moon was a long-running shoot. Both parts of the film were shot back to back, hence, Rebel Moon part two has already finished its production and is ready for the release. As we know that there will be another part for Rebel Moon, we might say that the first part will end up unresolved and with many questions left unanswered, which will be continued and answered in the next part, that is, Rebel Moon 2. However, we would not have to wait for long for part two after the release of the Rebel Moon.
