Clone High Season 3 Release Date: When will it premiere?

Much to the fans’ delight, the anticipated third season of Clone High was ordered along with Season 2, which was a part of the overall revival deal for this beloved series, which was initially announced back on July 2, 2020, as it was in the works at MTV Entertainment Studios with the original creators Lord, Miller, and Lawrence returning. Since then, the second season has finally graced television screens by releasing two new episodes, beginning on Thursday, May 23, 2023, and concluding with the final episode on June 22, 2023.  

It is the first season to air since the original run’s cancellation in 2003, which is exciting for the fans. After the second season concluded its run a few hours ago, the fandom once again started to wonder when the third season would be making its official comeback. So, if you’re wondering the same thing, then we can finally assure you that the fans will not have to wait for a long time as It is set to premiere internationally on Max sometime in 2024! The series’ official synopsis states, “A modern refresh of the hit series of the same name, Clone High follows a high school for clones of the greatest minds in history. Twenty years after the original experiment was put on ice, Joan, JFK, Abe, and Cleo have been thawed out to resume school with their new clone classmates—all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.”

The next season is also expected to continue the plot from the second season finale episode, “Clone Alone,” which was directed by Mark Ackland and written by Judah Miller and Mickey Jacobs. The plot will pick up from the cliffhanger, which showcased, “As Operation Spread Eagle ends, the students of Clone High are offered the opportunity to attend Clone High College. But when the entrance exam proves deadly, Joan must fend for herself, while Scudworth fights for his career.”

Clone High Season 3 Cast: Who will return?

The main cast members of the series who are expected to reprise their roles in the third season are as follows Will Forte as Abe Lincoln, Nicole Sullivan as Joan of Arc, Mitra Jouhari as Cleopatra, Christopher Miller as John F. Kennedy, Ayo Edebiri as Harriet Tubman, Vicci Martinez as Frida Kahlo, Kelvin Yu as Confucius, Neil Casey as Christopher Columbus, Phil Lord as Principal Scudworth, Christopher Miller as Mr. Butlertron, and Christa Miller as Candide Sampson. 

Earlier this year, it was announced that a majority of the original cast would be returning for the revival. However, the character of Gandhi would not be returning, as this idea since the controversy has been scrapped. However, Lord hinted at a possible return if the show gets renewed for a fourth season. Moreover, the role of Cleopatra, originally voiced by Christa Miller, will now be voiced by Mitra Jouhari. Christa Miller would instead voice Candide Simpson.

The supporting cast members include Jana Schmieding as Sacagawea, Sam Richardson as Wesley, Mo Gaffney as Ms. Grumbles, Al Madrigal as Frederico, Danny Pudi as Dr. Neelankavil, Emily Maya Mills as Ethel Merman, and Mandy Moore as herself. The series is from  MTV Entertainment Studios, Clone High executive producers include Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Bill Lawrence, Erica Rivinoja, Erik Durbin, Judah3 Miller, ShadowMachine’s Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley, and Jeff Ingold.

Clone High Season 3 Episodes: Where to stream?

The next season will include a total of 10 episodes with an average runtime of 22–26 minutes, just like the second season, which includes the same count in order to be consistent with the overall plotlines. We would like to highlight that the official episode titles and synopsis of the series are not yet released in order to avoid early spoilers, and they will be published once the episodes are due to air on the streaming service.

So, we would advise fans to be patient while waiting for these updates, which will be issued in the coming weeks!
