Ever since Big Brother premiered in 2000, it has never failed to surprise its viewers. Its latest season, Big Brother Season 24, premiered in July 2022 and aired its finale on September 25th, 2022. With the 24th season already rooted in the past, we are looking forward to landmark season 25 of the CBS television reality series.
This means bringing another cohort of houseguests, hailing from radically different cultural and professional backgrounds, who would be left with no choice but to face the extreme challenges within close quarters. Who are the house guests for Big Brother season 25?
Revealing the list of houseguests on Monday, CBS has astonished the ardent viewers of the show because this season would invite the first hearing-impaired houseguest, the first Sikh houseguest, the first female houseguest over 60, the first Australian houseguest and the gist houseguest from Appalachia. Additionally, a theme has been decided over the contestants’ names; three of them being named Red, Blue, and America. (People)

Ever since the 25th season was announced, a variety of twists and turns have been teased, especially by the alums Frankie Grande, Britney Haynes, and Danielle Reyes breaking into the house and stimulating a Time Laser, anticipating to go back in their Big Brother journeys and make some impact this time.

When was Big Brother officially renewed for season 25?
Just after the finale episode of BB 24 was aired, CBS officially renewed the addictive series for a 25th season. The announcement immediately followed the conclusion of season 24.
The series host, Julie Chen-Moonves, posted a message on Twitter, saying, “A big thank you to all our house guests for an absolutely incredible summer.” She added, “I know. I’m going to miss watching the show too, but I’ve got a great plan. This fall, spend some time watching other CBS competition shows. We’ve got ‘Survivor,’ we’ve got ‘The Amazing Race,’ and now we’ve got ‘The Real Love Boat.’ That’ll get you prepped for next summer. That’s right! We are coming back for our 25th season of the show.”
The 24th season concluded with the three remaining house guests, including Taylor Hate, Monte Taylor, and Matthew Turner, participating in their last Head of Household competitions to make the win. CBS contends that Big Brother season 24 has amassed over 11.5 billion minutes across its platform, Paramount +, and the CBS app. Not only that but according to Variety, “Big Brother’s” three weekly broadcasts over the summer were among the top 10 programs of the season in both total viewers and in the adults 25-54 demographic.”
That being said, we express no wonder why the series was renewed for a 25th season!
