Brit knocked on Sam’s doors on her wedding day, which was a scene to watch. Simone Finch has created one of the most laughable series of all time. Single Drunk Female is an American Comedy television series which got launched on January 20, 2022. Thanks to Freeform for giving this show a chance, while special gratitude to all the producers, executive producers, cast, and the rest for showcasing the challenges faced by an alcoholic during their sobriety journey. Sam, the 28 years old alcoholic, is forced to move back home after hitting rock bottom in life. The series shows her struggle with Sam and how she’s dealing with emotions. Leila Latif of The A.V. Club gave the first season a B and said, “Sofia Black-D’Elia makes for an incredible lead across all ten episodes, selling every moment of Samantha’s story as a woman with high-functioning alcoholism rebuilding her life.” The network also revealed that Busy Philipps and Ricky Velez, have been added to the cast in recurring roles. Plus, Charlie Hall will return as Sam’s ex-boyfriend Joel. In April 2022, the series got renewed for the second season.
Freeform announced that the comedy show, Single Drunk Female Season 2, starring Sofia Black-D’Elia, will premiere Wednesday, April 12 at 10/9c, with all ten episodes of Season 2 available to stream on Hulu the following day, April 13. The first season showed the struggles of Sam during her sobriety. Her return from rehab, & moving back with her bossy mother have been a lot to take in while fans are wondering what’s going to happen in Single Drunk Female Season 2.
Single Drunk Female Season 2 Plot:
Once alcoholic, now sober, Sam is celebrating her journey of one and a half years! However, Sam quickly learns that sometimes life has other plans for her. Sam must figure out how to effect change where she can, sit in discomfort when she can’t & maybe even enjoy the ride. She got the job, moved out of her mother’s house & finally into a relationship all comes crashing down. It’ll be very interesting to see how a sober Sam navigates life on its terms as she navigates heartbreak and manages to keep going to her AA meetings.

Single Drunk Female Season 2 is going to air in April 2023 until then you can renew your Hulu subscription and rewatch the first season! Brit regretting her marriage is going to change the whole scenario, considering she’s marrying Joel! Maybe, that’s why Joel will reappear in the second installment as Sam’s ex and not Brit’s husband!
