Asli is a big fan of the popular newsroom anchor Lale, and when she manages to make her way into talking to her, Lale barely pays her any attention and tells her to take another direction and succeed in that. So, Asli starts working for a TV production company, where Lale works as an intern. She tries to get closer to Lale as much as possible. Now, here we get the dark side of the fan who feels cheated and insulted by her ideal person.

In the finale of the previous season, we saw that Lale is gone as she decides to spend time with her family and Asli has taken over as the news anchor. She comes to the studio stage and, at first, feels happy and satisfied as this was what she has always wanted. However, as she approaches the stage, she becomes nervous, and her body turns cold.
She notices the trainees staring at her, and their stare clearly conveys the message that she will be the one now who will be kicked out as she’s at the top. Asli has deceived people and tricked them in order to climb the ladder, but she is unaware that whatever comes easily doesn’t last very long. The series concluded on this, and we expect As the Crow Flies Season 2 to continue where the story left off.
