Earlier milestones of Jump

BLACKPINK’s latest MV Jump also ranked at No.1 on the Billboard Global 200 and fourth on the Global Excl. U.S. charts, a few days ago.

Jump has already sold 14,000 copies worldwide in the week ending July 17, within just five days of its official release. It’s also the first track in over four months to have cracked 100 million streams globally.

BLACKPINK’s Jump has also landed in the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 28, and the K-pop group claimed their tenth entry on the weekly chart. Jump also happens to be their sixth song to enter the top 40 on the Hot 100 chart. With this,  BLACKPINK has officially become the first female K-pop act to have 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The K-pop girl group has also earned its third Global 200 No. 1, following Shut Down, which ranked a week in October 2022 and Pink Venom, which was present for two weeks in September.

What’s BLACKPINK doing now?

All the BLACKPINK members are currently busy with their DEADLINE world tour. The girl group’s official tour reportedly began in Seoul. As a part of the same tour, they also traveled to major cities like Los Angeles, New York, London, Chicago, Paris, and Toronto.

In the midst of all this, there were some rumors of internal troubles within the group. However, Jennie was quick to dismiss those rumors during one of her recent interactions. She clarified the same in an interview with Elle Korea and said, “We’ve come to understand each other more deeply, and we’ve become a more flexible and mature team. I think these upcoming activities will feel really special, both for me and for the other members.”

The BLACKPINK member also took a cryptic jibe at those spreading the false news by saying that she wished for people to understand that they can love themselves and work with it in their own way.
