Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 Expected Plot
The upcoming season is expected to pick up from the finale episode of the third season which is the 22nd episode, Beard In Her Pulpit, released on May 23, 2022. The episode was directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller and the story is written by Al Higgins & Gina Yashere & Matt Ross.
Moreover, the teleplay is written by Nathan Chetty & Gloria Bigelow & Marla DuMont. The episode is estimated to be viewed by 5.70 million US viewers.
The official synopsis of the episode states, “When a charismatic new pastor joins the congregation, Abishola takes a new interest in church; after Dottie gives out bonuses to upper management, but not Goodwin, Bob must do what he can to make sure he doesn’t lose his best employee.”

In the episode, the viewers got to see that, when they learn that the longstanding pastor of their church has left to take a job at a megachurch close to Chicago, Bob and Tunde are both furious during Sunday services. But as soon as the new Pastor Falade in Air Jordans appears, everyone in the congregation is eager to follow him. By instantly telling Morenike he’s proud of her church membership after Ogechi disparages her, Falade immediately establishes himself as a good man. Ebunoluwa also finds Falade to be endearing and hilarious.
Both Bob and Ebunoluwa have begun texting Pastor Falade as a result of his inspiration, but Bob’s is more about trying to make sense of the aspects of Christianity that he finds absurd, and Ebunoluwa’s is more about her attraction to the pastor. Olu (and Tunde) are excited to have first dibs on the most recent church rumors when Ogechi is demoted from her prayer leader post and handed the job, but they are left in the dark when Ogechi makes hints that Pastor Falade has feelings for one of the female parishioners.
Abishola is aware that the parishioner in issue is her unhappy mother, but she is powerless to do anything about it because she learned about Ebunoluwa’s marital woes by posing as a spirit guide in an effort to convince her mother to travel from Detroit to Lagos. At MaxDot, Dottie presents Douglas, Christina (for previous services), and rising top management star Kofo with hefty incentives.
Kofo spends his reward on a flamboyant wardrobe, letting Goodwin know that he was left behind by the bonus train. He strongly argues with Bob, who then tries to get Dottie to give Goodwin a financial reward. Dottie declines, suggesting Bob is welcome to give Goodwin a portion of his own bonus.
Bob decides to buy Goodwin a great new jacket and informs him that his ship will arrive while placing two tickets for the 2022 Detroit Lions home opener in the jacket’s pocket. When Goodwin hangs up the phone, it becomes clear that he is interviewing at Toesy Wolsey’s for a new job—one for which Christina had made a recommendation. Season 3 has ended.
Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 is expected to reveal where the overall plot of the series is going in terms of characters and storylines from this precise moment of the finale episode. Moreover, all of the previous episodes have set the tone for the recent season, which will see the story develop and expand in ways that will entice viewers to watch the show.
