It’s raining sports documentary series on Netflix. Some have already been released while a number of new sports docuseries and their seasons are slated to premiere this year. One of them is Break Point Season 1 Part 1. Having released on January 13, 2023, Break Point has been created by Box to Box films, the makers of Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
So far the audience has loved the series for being less flashy, more introspective, and yet providing a gripping amount of drama. We know that you certainly can’t wait for part 2 of the first season. When will Break Point Season 1 Part 2 release?
Though Netflix has not yet confirmed the official release date for Break Point season 1 part 2, the streaming platform did announce that the second half of the docuseries would be arriving in June 2023. Since the first part contained episodes from 1-5, the second part would include episodes 6-10. Though the part 2 trailer hasn’t yet been released by Netflix, you can see the teaser at the end of episode 5 of part 1.
So if you are already a fan of the series you would have to wait for a few more months to enjoy the remaining part of the season.
What did we see in Break Point Season 1 Part 1?
According to the official synopsis of the series, the first five episodes of Break Point season 1 part 1 followed a diverse group of tennis players on and off the court as they compete in grueling slams with hopes of winning a final and even bigger dream of becoming world number one. The docuseries gets up close and personal with top players on the tennis circuit through an entire year traveling across the globe for all four Grand Slams and the ATP and WTA tours.
Produced in a collaboration between Netflix, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the series does give us an emotional and personal viewpoint into the players’ lives- their wins, losses, and what goes on in between the serves.

The series feature top players from the world of tennis like Félix Auger-Aliassime, Matteo Berrettini, Taylor Fritz, Nick Kyrgios, Casper Ruud, Paula Badosa, Ons Jabeur, Maria Sakkari, and Ajla Tomljanovic.
