The England of 1800s has certain factors to it that never ceases to amaze us with its opulent lifestyle, the elaborate dress gowns, marriage centric parties, importance of fashion, strict manners, and whatnot. The filmmakers too left no stone unturned to use that setting to bring us the best of stories that leave us in thoughts.
Be it Sanditon which follows a young heroine and her both adventures and misadventures while she explores new aspects of life on a seaside resort of Sanditon, or Pride and Prejudice whose storyline is all around marriage, the shows set in Regency-era have left a mark in some way or the other.
Another story that is set in the Regency timeline and has exceeded viewers’ expectations is Bridgerton. It follows the eight Bridgerton siblings- Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth as they juggle through love, friendships, trust, and betrayal in the competitive Regency Era London’s social season where the whole reason behind the balls, dinner parties and charity events happening was finding eligible suitors.
The first season was released back in December 2020 and it was a blast. 82 million households watched the series in the initial 28 days of the release and made it the most-watched original series launch on Netflix before being overtaken by the Squid Game later. The second season is set to release on March 25, 2022. With the sophomore season coming up, fans can’t stop speculating the possibility of any further season.
So, we have good news for you. Read on to find out the future of Bridgerton Season 3.
