Here’s everything we know so far about the next episode of this medical drama television series. Continue reading for more information on Chicago Med Season 8.
This beloved series has been averaging approximately six million viewers on each episode, which is a significant achievement that many television series are unable to achieve with the baggage of carrying a massive franchise like, “One Chicago,” which has built a reputation over the years!
But Chicago Med is an expectation! To say the least, the fans can’t wait to see what else the story has in store for them. So, it is understandable why the fans have been waiting to see if the season will resume with the remaining episodes in March 2023 or not.
If you are one of them, then you’ve come to the right spot; we have compiled all the necessary information for you to get a head start on the forthcoming episodes. Here is everything we know so far about when Chicago Med Season 8 will be back on the NBC network.
Chicago Med Season 8: When will the new episode begin airing on NBC?
After a short hiatus, a brand new 16th episode is scheduled to release on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the same time slot of 8 p.m. ET, followed by “Chicago Fire” Season 11 at 9 p.m. ET, and concluding with “Chicago P.D.” Season 10 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC and later on Paramount Plus. The network has not released the official title and synopsis for this upcoming episode to avoid spoilers beforehand, which makes it difficult to predict future plotlines.
Hence, we can expect that the new episode will expand on the events that transpired in the prior episode, “Those Times You Have to Cross the Line,” released on March 1, 2023, in which the viewers got to see that the hospital is in disarray when the janitors go on strike; Marcel treats a young girl injured on her family’s farm. Later, Charles and Cuevas’ schizophrenic patient returns to Med, and Archer encounters a patient with foreign material in her stomach.
Take a look at the official promo of the episode to get a glimpse into the character arcs below:

Epatha Merkerson as Chief Administrator Sharon Goodwin, and Oliver Platt as Doctor Daniel Charles. Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead created this medical drama television series.
