The adventure of Edens Zero Squad takes off once again after a hardly winning fight against Edens One. Aiming to make 100 friends in space, Shiki takes off with Rebecca and Happy on a journey to search for Mother. The space Goddess who grand wishes, Mother, is an impossible task considering she hasn’t met anyone before.
Still, Rebecca agrees to the adventure for exclusive footage of Mother. On their journey, they make new friends, Weisz Steiner, E.M Pino and Homura Kogetsu. While the journey is adventurous, their destination is in an unknown location. Edens Zero Season 1 was loved by several & now we wait for the next instalment. Edens Zero is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. The series has gained a dedicated fanbase & has been successful in Japan and internationally. The anime adaptation of Edens Zero was released in April 2021, although the series was released internationally later.
It follows the story of a young boy named Shiki Granbell, who lives among robots on a deserted planet until he meets two humans and embarks on an adventure across the galaxy to discover the mysteries of the cosmos. Edens Zero Season 2, is set to continue the storyline of Shiki’s journey. While the series got renewed for a second season on February 9, 2022, and now international fans are dying to know all about Edens Zero Season 2!
Edens Zero Season 2 International Release date:
Edens Zero is a series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima series is an adaptation of Fairy Tail. On December 31, 2017, Mashima announced through Twitter his secret project, based on another space fantasy. The first volume got released on September 14, 2018. On June 12, 2020, Mashima announced on Twitter that the manga would be adapted into an anime television series. While we have learned the history of its making, we should also know that the anime was first aired from April 11 to October 3, 2021, until later Netflix acquired streaming rights & the series got globally released on August 26, 2021.

Similar will be the case with Edens Zero Season 2 too. The second season was renewed on February 9, 2022, and is supposed to release in April 2023 in Japan. Edens Zero Season 2 Episode 1 was released in Japan on April 2, 2023, while the next episode is supposed to air on April 8, 2023, as it is a weekly anime & new episodes are released every Saturday.
Unfortunately for all international fans, the series might be aired globally after four months break i.e, in August 2023. The rumors have it, that the series’ second season might air on Disney Plus as the Walt Disney Corporation and the Japanese publishing house Kodansha entered into a new, long-term partnership at the end of 2022.
Edens Zero Season 2 Expected plot:
After mourning for being an international Edens Zero squad fan, at least we can find happiness in knowing the second season is supposed to have intense action scenes with a twisted storyline that’ll blow our minds! The twenty-five episodes of the first season in which roughly 68 chapters of the manga were covered. This manga which comprises 221 chapters, will serve as the starting point for the adaptation of the plot. Takuma Terashima as Shiki Granbell, Mikako Komatsu as Rebecca Bluegarden, Rie Kugimiya as Happy, Hiromichi Tezuka as Weisz Steiner, and Sayaka Ohara as Elsie Crimson.
