Emily In Paris Season 4: Will it air by Christmas 2023?
Much like Emily’s love life, there is confusion and mayhem surrounding the release date for Season 4 of our favorite romantic comedy-drama.
Last we checked, we updated you on a greenlight that Emily in Paris was estimated to arrive by December 2023 based on the fact that production was to begin around July 2023.
We are incredibly sorry to burst your bubble AGAIN! Emily in Paris might not reach us by December 2023, given that production hasn’t even begun due to the delays caused by the strike.
There was a rumor a few months back that Season 3 and 4 production was taking place in Paris side by side. That information turned out to be false. So now we are crossing our fingers for the production to start around October 2023. With that calculation in mind, we can expect Emily to grace our screens by Summer 2024. This estimation keeps in mind the usual time Netflix takes in production and the post-production period.
However, one thing is certain. Writing for Season 4 has been completed, and based on the strike situation, we will be able to watch our favorite show by early 2024.

Emily in Paris Season 4: Expected Plot
The season 3 finale “Charade,” left us gasping and wondering about the outcomes of the next season. The situations of all the characters were ‘tres‘ complicated, without any closure. We speculate that if Season 4 is indeed the finale, it will be all about the characters experiencing closure and facing themselves and what they need as opposed to what they want. Don’t be surprised by the ‘finale’ statement. We will get to it in some time.
All four characters, Emily, Gabriel, Camille, and Alfie, are all single for the first time, so it is time to explore the crossroads of all the possible outcomes that can bring:

Emily and Alfie
Things did not end on a somber note for Emily and Alfie because of the former’s ignorance of her true feelings towards Gabriel. Alfie ended it with Emily because he did not want to be her second choice. Season 4 might explore that trajectory since Emily will be back in association with Alfie at work. Maybe they can develop a more understanding friendship rather than using each other to fill their romantic voids.
Camille and Gabriel
With a baby on the way, things might get messy for the two of them. Camille decided to leave Gabriel at the altar because she wanted everybody to stop pretending and share their true feelings. By breaking the marriage, she had, in a way, accepted Emily as Gabriel’s partner. In retrospect, we have yet to see the possible developments between her and Sophie(an interesting turn).
Gabriel, on the other hand, was ready to marry Camille for the sake of their child, even if it meant he put aside his real feelings for Emily. Season 4 might touch upon how the two will co-parent their child and develop an understanding as parents.

Emily in Paris Season 4 might finally bring us what we have been yearning for since the moment these two met at their building; AN EMILY AND GABRIEL RELATIONSHIP!!
However, it will be a rocky road to that goal because of a new baby on the way. Emily needs to be involved with Camille if she is to be with Gabriel because of his child. Season 4 will give us all the possible outcomes of this knotty dynamic.
