EXO member Chanyeol will celebrate the anniversary of his solo debut with a special concert titled “Upside Down: Sound Stage.” The event is scheduled for August 31, 2025, at Yes24 Live Hall, as confirmed by his agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.

The concert will take place a week after Chanyeol releases his second solo EP Upside Down on August 25. It will also feature a complete lineup of performances from his solo discography.

Meanwhile, the agency has already unveiled a poster for the concert on EXO’s social media channels. This heightened curiosity among the K-pop group’s fans who were awaiting an announcement from the group’s side.

Plans for the concert

In particular, the special performance for the concert was prepared by Chanyeol, who released his first mini-album Black Out in August 2025. Since the event will take place after the comeback of his second mini-album Upside Down, it is expected to be a performance that showcases all of the EXO members’ past solo stages.

Ticket reservations for Upside Down will open on Yes24, with a fan club presale for EXO-L membership holders starting August 13 at 8 p.m. This will be followed by a general ticketing on August 14.

SM Entertainment has also revealed that the EXO member’s upcoming album and anniversary performance are expected to highlight his growth as a solo artist and showcase the range he’s built over the past year.

Double profits for SM Entertainment

SM Entertainment, the agency associated with EXO, Aespa, and BoA, witnessed its stocks pop up nearly five percent on August 4. This has happened following milestone releases and announcements from some of the representative artists of the company, including EXO’s Chanyeol.

According to the latest reports from the Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) trading board, SM Entertainment’s stock closed at 135,600 Korean won (nearly $98). It was able to garner around 6,100 KRW for the day to deliver a 4.71% jump.

The rising stocks are also a result of BoA releasing her 11th full-length album, Crazier, on Monday. For the unversed, it also marked her 25th anniversary in the K-pop industry.
