The famous quote given by R.L Stine, the famous American novelist, short story, writer & Tv producer who is referred to as the Stephen King of children’s literature has written not only Fear Street but also Ghoosebumps, Mostly Ghostly, and others. The famous Fear Street or called Ghosts of Fear Street, Thanks to Netflix. We have three installments of Fear Street while we wait for Fear Street 4. Although there is no official announcement, made we heard from a little birdie about the rumors regarding Fear Street 4.
Before we dig further, let’s scramble about what we know so far about the fear street trilogy. The Fear Street Trilogy is a horror movie based on the R.L. Stine book series of the same name. The story revolves around teenagers who work to break the curse that has been over their town for hundreds of years. Although in a bit of their scavenger hunt, they get terrorized by serial killer ghosts. Thanks to Netflix, we might be getting Fear Street 4!
Is Fear Street 4 happening?
All three parts of Fear Street got released in July 2021. Fear Street Part One: 1994, released on July 2, 2021, followed by Fear Street Part Two: 1978, released on July 9, 2021, & Fear Street Part Three: 1666 got out on July 16, 2021. since then, fans have wished for another installment while Netflix got busy with other projects. The audience has loved all the parts of Fear Street since the trilogy has rated 80%+ on Rotten Tomatoes.

The rumors have it, Fear Street 4 has been greenlit by Netflix, although there haven’t been any official announcements. Chloe Okuno is the new director of the film. However, the old producers Peter Chernin, David Ready & Jenno Topping are welcome again! Nothing has been confirmed whether it is the cast, Plot, or release date. Logically, if the announcement is yet to be made we can’t expect the release in 2023.
Is Fear Street going to be a Horror Marvel?
Considering the excitement of Leigh Janiak, the Fear Street director, and co-writer, while giving an interview to Collider said, “One of the things that I talked about before I was hired was that we have a potential here to create a horror Marvel, where you can have slasher killers from lots of different eras.”
She further added about maybe “adding more Trilogy to the Fear Streets, to build more” It can be either as a movie or a series since she considers The Fear Street a hybrid new thing. Since we know Deena lifted the curse though it killed Nick and vanished the rest of the evil spirits that made the Shadyside a dangerous place to live.

Since then, the famous trilogy ended with Fear Street in 2021. We can expect to watch something new in Fear Street 4 while we hope to watch the original cast back in their game. Hopefully, we’ll hear soon from Netflix about the renewal till then, let’s keep digging more!
