Gaslit is an American political thriller limited television series based on the first season of Leon Neyfakh’s podcast Slow Burn. The plot revolves around Martha Mitchell, a famous Arkansan socialite and the wife of Nixon’s loyal Attorney General, John N. Mitchell.
Regardless of her political party, she is the first to publicly raise the alarm about Nixon’s role in Watergate, leading both the presidency and her personal life to crumble. Mitchell, as attorney general, is forced to choose between Martha and the president.

What to expect in Gaslit Season 1 Episode 3?
Will, the first episode of Gaslit, was released on April 24, 2022. It was directed by Matt Ross and written by Robbie Pickering. As the series opens, we see Martha Mitchell attempting to reconcile the responsibilities of a re-election campaign with those of her marriage. John Dean’s ambition is put to the test as he finds himself unintentionally sucked into a conspiracy within Nixon’s campaign.
This is followed by Episode 2 titled California, was released on May 1, 2022. Matt Ross directed the episode, which was written by Robbie Pickering and Amelia Gray. In this episode, Martha and John renew their love and their power-couple working connection during a campaign event in California, which is overshadowed by G. Gordon Liddy. and his team bungling the break-in at the Watergate.
Hence, in Gaslit Season 1 Episode 3, the viewers can expect to see John informing his staff that the safe must be removed from the White House. As John Dean claims he is unable to do so because he is too close to President Nixon which leads to John and the team making fun of John Dean.
Moreover, they all are well aware that John Dean has never even met Nixon and the feds are now looking into the Watergate break-in. On the other hand, they question Gordon Liddy and James McCord.
Peter and Martha violently fight for her freedom. Martha is able to smuggle a phone call to Winnie, a reporter for Ladies’ Home Journal, pleading for assistance. The episode will expand into the scenario of Martha confronting John about his decision to place her under house arrest with an aggressive bodyguard.
