The journey of Callie and Mariana after graduating and relocating to downtown Los Angeles is returning to the television screens. The anticipation is high, and the fans will get to see more of these sisters as they navigate love, sex, and the complicated relationships that come with living in a new city in their 20s.
If you recall, back in August 2022, the series was renewed for a fifth season ahead of the finale of Season 4 of The Fosters spinoff, which is now set to premiere all brand new episodes on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the same time slot as 10 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform, and later stream the episodes the next day on Hulu.

The Coterie is in disarray as Callie returns, and the housemates are dealing with new difficulties. The official description of “Good Trouble,” returns for a fifth season with the 20-something residents of Los Angeles’ The Coterie. The roommates will face their toughest obstacles yet as they’re confronted with evolving relationship challenges and new career opportunities.
Through highs and lows, romance, and heartbreak, The Coterie crew will lean on each other while they navigate the next stage of adulthood. The upcoming series is anticipated to have 20 episodes, which is the most for this season, with an average runtime of 42 to 61 minutes. It is expected to drop on a weekly basis, just like the prior seasons.

Season 5 Episode 4: Under Pressure – April 6, 2023: Mariana has a big decision to make and turns to her visiting Moms for support. Joaquin questions whether Jenna is ready to bring Silas to justice. Alice tries to be productive at work but grows impatient with her much-older fellow writers.
Season 5 Episode 5: I Got a Feeling – April 13, 2023: Mariana struggles to navigate her changed relationship with Evan. Dennis and Davia are both busy in their careers, but are they still able to make time for one another? Alice, Malika, and Gael let off steam at a local Queer Night.
Season 5 Episode 6: Once a Cheater – April 20, 2023: Despite the danger, new evidence tempts Joaquin back into his mission of taking down Silas’s cult; when Dennis encounters a roadblock at his restaurant, he debates taking a shortcut; Malika tries to prove she’s mastered work/life balance.

The main cast members of the series who will reprise their roles include Cierra Ramirez as Mariana Adams Foster, Zuri Adele as Malika Williams, Sherry Cola as Alice Kwan, Bryan Craig as Joaquin Peréz, Emma Hunton as Davia Moss, and Tommy Martinez as Gael Martinez, Josh Pence as Dennis Cooper, and Priscilla Quintana as Isabella Tevez.
In addition to this, Maia Mitchell, who exited the series last season, will be reprising her role as Callie Adams-Foster in the first episode of the season.
