The official trailer of IVE’s 4th mini album, IVE SECRET, has finally been unveiled on YouTube. For the unversed, it was released on the social media platform on August 8, 2025. The idols have introduced a striking Evil Cupid concept in the same trailer.
They took a rather darker tone by abandoning their usual bright and lovely Cupid personas. IVE is also seen dropping tumblers, crossing their fingers, and pulling a hidden revolver from the “Cupid Guidebook.” The audience will be intrigued to see chilling scenes run throughout the video, with the daytime smiles of the members symbolizing the covert and unsettling side of Cupid.
Then, the atmosphere shifted suddenly, with burned paper cranes, and acts performed contrasted sharply with Cupid’s pure image.
Release date
IVE SECRET will be released on August 25, 2025, across some of the major music platforms. In the group trailer photo, IVE’s individuality shone at its brightest. The members posed against a wall adorned with Cupid wings, exuding “all-power, center-class visuals.” Each showcased distinct six-color charms, from wing-shaped earrings to wing-accented boots, with intricate Cupid-inspired details adding an extra layer of visual delight.
Other work
IVE released their third extended play Ive Empathy, on February 3, 2025. This was supported by the two other singles titled Rebel Heart, which was pre-released on January 13, and Attitude, which was released with the full EP.
Both these singles also charted within the top 10 of the Circle Digital Chart. In fact, Rebel Heart ranked at number 1 and became the group’s fifth single to achieve such an excellent feat on Korean music charts. Not only that, but IVE’s album also peaked at number 1 on the Circle Album Chart. This happens to be the K-pop girl group’s sixth album to reach number one and their fifth to reach over a million copies.
Meanwhile, IVE also released their Japanese soundtrack Dare Me on April 21, 2025. This was also selected as the opening track for the Nippon TV drama Damemane! – We’ll Manage a Useless Talent.
IVE’s latest records
On July 12, 2025, IVE became the first K-pop girl group to perform live at the Lollapalooza music festival (Berlin edition). The group also performed at the Paris edition of the festival on July 20, breaking yet another record.
Now, with another album on the way for release, it’s yet to be seen what other record the group breaks over time.
