In January 2023, Netflix introduced the young adult thriller series Lockwood & Co. which was adapted from the novel of the same name written by British novelist Jonathan Stroud. The novel was published in the United Kingdom. In a manner quite similar to that of the books, the series takes place in a reimagined version of present-day London. The appearance of ghosts is not uncommon around these places. The ghosts are emerging from their graves, and just as in the majority of other supernatural shows, we have a group of highly skilled agents to deal with the ghosts.

The team of those talented young-adult agents is known as the Lockwood & Co. Lucy Carlyle, who is the narrator of the story, Anthony Lockwood, who is the charismatic leader of the group, and George Cubbins, who is the researcher or historian for the team, are all members of the team. Together, they look into a variety of strange cases and engage in a number of fights against the supernatural. Along the way, they uncover some of the dark, covert history of London as well as the root cause for this haunting epidemic.

Since the premiere of the first season, there has been a great deal of anticipation among the young adults regarding this show. The admirers of the novels are waiting with bated breath to hear whether or not the show will be renewed. We are here to share with you all of the information that we have accumulated regarding the season 2.

Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement made by the producers indicating whether or not the show will be renewed. On the other hand, the show has not been cancelled as well. Netflix typically makes announcements regarding a renewal of a newly premiered show after one or two months.

Therefore, we need to keep ourselves excited and remain hopeful that the show will be coming back for a second season. Even Joe Cornish, the person who created the show has indicated that the first season of the show concentrated primarily on the first two books of Stroud’s Book-Series. This was mentioned in the show’s pilot episode. Therefore, there is a good possibility that the show will return to tell other stories from the book series as well.

The pilot season of the show consisted of a total of eight episodes. Each episode was chock full of magical and unexplained occurrences. A number of mysteries were left hanging at the end of the first season of Lockwood & Co. The mysteries should be cleared up by the end of the second season. Whether or if Anthony’s parents are still alive, we can expect to learn more about Anthony’s background in the near future.

Although it was established early on in the first episode that both of his parents had passed away. The encounter with the Golden Bled hints that there may have been another explanation. Also Anthony makes the decision to let his teammates to investigate his strange room right at the very end of the series’ last episode. However, the credits started rolling just as he was about to open the door to his room, so whatever he is hiding inside his room still remains a mystery. We can expect all these to get unraveled in season 2.
