South Korean singer LYn and M.C The MAX’s Lee Soo have finally decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage. The couple had earlier tied the knot in 2014, and have now ended their marriage mutually after a series of extended discussions. According to insiders, the divorce was not driven by any single party’s wrongdoing.

A source told the Dispatch, “They did not break up because it was one side’s fault. They still respect each other’s music.” Despite the separation, the two of them will reportedly support each other professionally in the future.

In fact, LYn and Lee Soo had an excellent partnership in terms of their musical journey, especially throughout their marriage. The two of them even collaborated for various joint concerts and project albums over the years. In fact, the singers work for the same agency, 325E&C, which was founded by the latter in 2016. So, there is no denying that their professional relationship is bound to remain intact despite the divorce.

325E&C has also released an official statement regarding the couple’s separation that reads,

“Hello. This is 325E&C.

Lyn and Lee Soo recently agreed to go their separate ways based on plenty of discussion and mutual respect, and they are currently in the process of finalizing their divorce. This decision was reached through an amicable agreement, and it was not the fault of either party.

Throughout their 11-year marriage, the two artists have maintained a good partnership based on a deep understanding and respect of one another’s music and artistic endeavors. Although their legal relationship has ended, they will continue to root for each other from their respective places and maintain their relationship as musical colleagues.

Both Lyn and Lee Soo are currently active as artists under 325E&C, and they each plan to continue their music careers in the future as well.

We hope that you will refrain from publishing reports with distorted facts or groundless speculation, and we ask that you give [the artists] your warm support.”

The news of the couple’s separation comes as a shock to many, as they were seen displaying affection by going on a date at a restaurant on their 9th wedding anniversary. Then, came their 10th anniversary, when they released their duet project album, Friendlyn.

Lee Soo has been embroiled in several controversies in the past. The hitmaker was also granted a deferred indictment for charges related to underage prostitution in 2008. This was, unfortunately, mentioned again ahead of the couple’s marriage which happened years later. LYn, however, was quite supportive of her husband but often spoke about the burdens she faced during that time.

Nonetheless, the couple always displayed affection throughout their marriage, until now. Speaking further about their divorce, a spokesperson stated, “The divorce was a choice made in understanding and respect, not conflict.” They continued, “They will continue their activities on stage, and there will be no changes to the concert schedules planned for this year.”

Speaking of LYn, she has given us several OST hits, such as My Destiny and Time to Turn Back. Lee Soo is nothing less as he had also collaborated with M.C The Max for tracks like Don’t Be Happy and Anywhere.

Now that they are separated, it’s yet to be seen whether Lyn and Lee Soo will ever come together for future duets or not.
