The famous American crime and action series, Magnum P.I. Season 5, is gonna premiere on February 29, 2023. It was a remark of the 1980 series of the same name, which centers on Thomas Magnum. The show was a hit in 1980 & now it’s picked up again for a reboot! Thanks to Peter M. Lenkov & Eric Guggenheim, the show released its first season on September 24, 2018. Now the series is picked up by NBC after CBS dropped the project after season 4, the currently running season has earned a positive response while fans are buzzing about Magnum P.I. Season 5 Episode 6.
Variety’s Daniel D’Addario wrote, “The new Magnum is a lot like the old one, except for when it isn’t – and when it isn’t, it’s better.” Conversely, The Hollywood Reporter’s Tim Goodman said, “The new Magnum is a formulaic procedural that seems to be using the franchise name in a cynical attempt to drum up business.” Despite the mixed reviews, Magnum P.I. Season 5 indicates that it has a loyal following among fans of the action genre.
