Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently working on its Phase Four films and series which are set after the events of the Infinity War. Some of the highly anticipated films and series have already rolled out, and some are still on the upcoming list.
Avengers: Infinity War concluded a decade-long storyline and with that conclusion, a new story with new characters is what Marvel needed to keep the viewers entertained.

The project has a considerable number of TV series on the plate too like WandaVision (2021), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), Loki season 1 (2021), What If…? (2021–present), Hawkeye (2021), Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Untitled Halloween special. Secret Invasion, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Ironheart, Armor Wars, and an Untitled Wakanda series.

Out of these, a few have already been released and a trailer for the upcoming one, Ms. Marvel, has recently surfaced. Ms. Marvel follows Kamala Khan, a teenager who writes fan fiction on superheroes like The Avengers and especially Captain Marvel who she considers to be her idol. Her whole world goes topsy turvy when she realizes that she too got powers taht are very similar to her favorite action heroes. It is written by Bisha K. Ali who is also acting as an executive producer along with Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Victoria Alonso.

The trailer gives a peek into Kamala’s life, a 16-year-old girl from New Jersey with an over-the-top imagination that she uses to write comic book fan fiction. Kamala prefers to stay in her own fantasy world which involves a lot of superhero elements and especially Captain Marvel. She dreams to be Captain Marvel herself with all her powers and stature. However, not even in her wildest dreams, she thought that any of it could be possible till one day when it actually did.

A huge fan of Captain Marvel, Kamala dreams to be all-powerful and independent like her. Like any other teen, she has her own fantasies, dreams, aspirations, issues, and crushes. And she had the talent to bring out all of her emotions and feelings as the fiction she writes. But little did she know that her world will turn upside down as she’ll receive the very powers she fantasizes about. Now what’s there to see is where those embiggening powers will take her and what will they prove to be for her: a boon or a bane.

- Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel: Kamala is a 16-year-old comic fan who writes superhero fan fiction. With the help of Nega-bands, she gains the ability to harness cosmic energy and create constructs.
- Aramis Knight plays Kareem / Red Dagger. He is a vigilante.
- Saagar Shaikh plays Amir Khan: Older brother of Kamala.
- Rish Shah plays Kamran.
- Zenobia Shroff plays Muneeba Khan. She is Kamala’s mother.
- Mohan Kapur plays Yusuf Khan: Kamala’s father.
- Matt Lintz plays Bruno Carrelli. He is Kamala’s best friend.
- Laurel Marsden plays Zoe Zimmer.
Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, Nimra Bucha, Alyy Khan, Alysia Reiner, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Anjali Bhimani have also been cast, however, there is no information regarding their roles.
