Two chaotic friends who haven’t contacted each other in years have finally reunited. However, according to everyone, their friendships aren’t built for this phase of life, but are they ready to accept that? Absolutely not! The Chaos broke through, and the destructive duo came together! In the recent episode, we saw how Sylvie is struggling after losing her job. She battles to tell Charlie the truth, and to hide that; she goes to Will’s bar.
After many dilemmas, she told him the truth & to her surprise, he supported her, although he wasn’t very supportive when he found out a picture of Sylvie & Will at the bar. On the top, Sylvie takes Will on the trip while keeping Charlie in the dark. To save the deal, Johnny Rev’s abuse is overlooked by Will only after Sylvie says so. However, when he takes another shot at Sylvie, he will lash out, and the deal goes into flame. Later, when they return home, Charlie is waiting for Sylvie & he doesn’t look that happy. Will we get this Chaotic duo back in Platonic Season 2? Stay tuned for answers.

Is Platonic Season 2 renewed or canceled?
Before we start predicting the future, let’s take a moment to thank Nicholas Stoller & Francesca Delbanco for creating such a remarkable series after Apple TV+ approved the show on October 15, 2020. A total of ten episodes were there in the first season, and the last episode aired on July 12, 2023. While it’s only recently that the first installment got released, fandom is already enquiring about the second season! This action only indicates how much fans love the show, especially the Rose Byrne & Seth Rogen duo. Based on all this, is it possible for Platonic Season 2 to happen?
Since the future is always unpredictable, we can’t be sure, although we do know how the audience adores Sylvie & Will’s friendship. However, Apple TV+ hasn’t given the green light to Platonic Season 2 yet. Apple TV is known for cancelling brilliant shows so we can’t be sure. If we look at Rogen’s series announcement Instagram caption, we might be upset. We can see his Instagram post especially says, “I’m thrilled to present the trailer for PLATONIC, a limited series with me and Rose Byrne! It’s funny and wonderful.”

The keyword is Limited series! However, this word isn’t mentioned in Rose Byrne’s Instagram announcement, nor is it mentioned in the Apple TV+ post. So we aren’t sure how seriously we should take it. Still, it can’t be ignored! If the show keeps creating remarkable ratings, we are sure the series will get the renewal. So when can we expect Platonic Season 2 to return if it gets renewed? Nothing can be specially said, although we do know we can’t expect anything before 2024. While the Writers’ strike has been the main reason behind the delay of several series, we can expect that to happen with the Platonic series, too. The conclusion remains the same: the second installment hasn’t been renewed yet, although we do hope for the best!
