PURPLE KISS is all set to release its debut English album at the end of this month. For the unversed, the K-pop group will disband in November this year. Ahead of their final goodbye, the members have now dropped the first teaser for their upcoming album titled OUR NOW.

The album is scheduled to be released on August 31, 2025. Earlier this month, RBW Entertainment, the agency associated with PURPLE KISS, announced the group’s decision to go their separate ways. It also announced the members’ decision to release an English album ahead of their disbandment.

Reportedly, they will be promoting OUR NOW in Japan, followed by a United States tour, and a final concert in South Korea.

What’s in the teaser

퍼플키스(PURPLE KISS) 'OUR NOW' Logo Motion

The logo motion teaser of PURPLE KISS’s new album is quite intriguing. The 36-second video starts by showing everyone the official Instagram account of the group. Then, it showcases certain aesthetics that are apparently symbolic of all the members, such as a piano, an empty theatre with popcorn stickers, and a room full of soft toys with the ‘we are open’ message.

Not only that, but we also see messy kitchen cabinets, nostalgic photographs, and dinner tables. Interestingly, all of these pictures were earlier shared by the members of the K-pop group on social media. Meanwhile, the video ends with a logo that converts itself to the initials ‘OUR NOW’ in the end.

Group’s disbandment decision

Earlier this month, the PURPLE KISS members announced their disbandment, just three weeks after releasing their new single. This piece of news was also confirmed by the group’s agency, RBW. So, they will be officially ending all of their group activities in November this year. For the unversed, PURPLE KISS debuted on March 15, 2021, with the mini album Into Violet. This means they are separating after being together for almost four years.

Meanwhile, here’s what RBW’s statement read regarding the disbandment of the K-pop group:

“Hello, this is RBW.

First, we would like to sincerely thank our PLORY (fandom) who have always given unwavering love and support to PURPLE KISS.

We are here to deliver our official statement regarding PURPLE KISS’s group activities and their future plans.
Above all, we deeply apologize for having to share this news so suddenly.

This coming November, PURPLE KISS will conclude their group activities.

Because of the deep affection all of us had for the group, both the company and the members engaged in long, serious discussions about how to move forward.

As a result, out of mutual respect and support for each member’s individual dreams, we reached a single conclusion together.

Although group activities will come to an end, we plan to carry out all the previously scheduled promotions without issue, as a way of repaying the love and support we’ve received so far.

Starting with the release of an English album at the end of August, PURPLE KISS will continue with their remaining activities—promotions in Japan, a North American tour, and a concert in Korea—spending the remaining time together with PLORY.

Our company has shared countless meaningful moments with PURPLE KISS.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the six members who have made PURPLE KISS shine until now.

Though not every day was perfect, thanks to the members who always gave their all and the fans who remained by their side, every moment was meaningful.

Once again, we express our deepest gratitude to all PLORY who have always loved PURPLE KISS with warmth and care.

Thank you.”
