Here’s everything you need to know about See Season 3.

See, an Apple TV+ science fiction drama series set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia where mankind lost its capacity to see is back for its third and final season. The first season premiered on the OTT platform on November 1, 2019, while the second season debuted on August 27, 2021, two years later.

Fortunately, we don’t need another two years for the next season.

The star power of Aquaman, Jason Momoa, himself, and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight proved to be enough of a draw to keep the show running. In fact, See was one of the series chosen to launch Apple’s streaming service. Nowadays, it takes a lot to finish the third season, especially in the competitive environment when shows are getting canceled everywhere.

What happened in See Season 1 & 2?

See Season 1 introduces viewers to a fatal virus that killed the vast majority of people at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Because of this, less than two million individuals survived, but their survival was not free. Unfortunately, both the remaining survivors and their distant ancestors have lost their ability to see. Several centuries later, society has adjusted to their blindness and discovered new methods for them to participate actively in their various communities. Without the use of vision, humans have figured out how to construct dwellings, go on food hunts, and engage in social interactions. To mention the concept of vision alone, however, is considered heresy since it has become a myth.

Baba Voss, the fierce leader of the Alkenny Tribe with the blood of a real blue warrior, is the main subject of the show. One day, when a pregnant woman named Maghra Kane seeks safety with the Alkenny, his highland clan is in for a shock. Baba Voss decides to wed Maghra and adopts her children as he is unable to father offspring of his own. The biological children of the children, Jerlamarel, are evading Queen Sibeth Kane, the ruler of the Payan kingdom.

The Queen is cruel and will kill anyone who promotes the heretic of being sighted. The rapid dissemination of information about Jerlamarel and his descendants causes a major witch hunt for them. Baba Voss is responsible for defending his tribe and his family from the Queen’s army. In the second season of See, Baba Voss battles Edo Voss, his younger brother, who wants to get revenge on Baba. Conveniently, Payan’s rival kingdom, Trivantian, has appointed Edo as its Commander General.
