Dong-hyuk, who got rejected by several production houses for his script for Squid Game is now giving interviews regarding the top series in the world. Thanks to his determination and Netflix for giving the squid game script a chance. Regarding Squid Game Season 2, the writer has revealed about having a basic storyline mapped out in his head, “I Do have a basic storyline for season 2, it’s all in my head & I’m currently in the brainstorming stage. Apart from Dong-hyuk’s statement, the actor Lee Jung- Jae revealed that season two filming begins in the summer & will most likely last for over ten months. He even described how Season 1 was supposed to release sooner. However, due to COVID-19, the filming of the series was postponed. Hence the delay in release. If we think according to the provided information the filming of the series will probably start in June or July and end in March- April 2024.
