JYP Entertainment has recently reported its blockbuster quarterly earnings, and it has surpassed any numbers that the K-pop agency has seen to date. As per the agency’s recently published report, it witnessed a 125.5% year-over-year increase in revenue to a whopping 215.8 billion Korean won ($154 million) in Q2.

A majority of the credit goes to  Stray Kids’  Dominate World Tour. This Live Nation-backed global event was recently named the highest-grossing and best-selling tour by a K-pop act in Latin America, North America, and Europe. As mentioned in JYP’s report, Stray Kids achieved the following in this quarter:

“Completed the largest K-POP world tour (54 times in 34 regions), First/largest K-POP records at 13 stadiums across NA/EU/LATAM, Planning Korea encore concerts and new albums in H2 incl. regular album in Aug, #2 on ‘25 H1 album sales in USA, 1st K-POP group with 5 albums certified Gold by RIAA, #1 on Billboard 200 for 6 albums & 3 entries on Billboard Hot 100 consecutively.”

This means the agency has specifically singled out Stray Kids’ recently completed world tour, as a part of which the group performed across 54 shows in 23 cities across Latin America, Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe. The tour kicked off in August last year and was completed just a few weeks ago with a finale at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.

Other contributors

JYP Entertainment also accredited a few other K-pop acts like TWICE and DAY6 for an increase in its revenue. The agency also mentioned the recently released Netflix fantasy film Kpop Demon Hunters. For the unversed, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung from TWICE contributed to the song Takedown from the film. Currently, it is ranked at the 29th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The K-pop group’s first-ever stadium outing with the Dominate World tour has almost set a global benchmark for all upcoming artist tours. The 54-date run saw the octet selling 361,000 tickets and grossing $41.1m, especially in Latin America. With this, Stray Kids also dethroned BLACKPINK from the top spot, and sold over 491,000 tickets on a 13-show run in North America that grossed $76.2 million.

Earlier in May, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment reported a 275% year-on-year increase in concert revenue, hitting $5.4 million. Most of its revenue included shows by BABYMONSTER, TREASURE, 2NE1, and more. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK continues to draw revenue for the agency with its ongoing DEADLINE tour.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids is currently gearing up for the release of its fourth studio album titled KARMA, which will be released on August 22, 2025. On Wednesday, the group also shared a ‘mashup video’ that gave a glimpse of the nine songs from the album.
