Will the talented lawyers at Pearson Hardman return for another season? Here is everything we know so far about the potential renewal of Suits Season 10.

If you have been online for the last couple of weeks, then we are certain that you are well aware of the ongoing dual strikes: WGA and SAG-AFTRA, which have now been around for weeks and have started to gain more momentum by taking over major Hollywood production houses and putting them on a temporary halt until a proper resolution has been agreed upon and they are expected to last for a while as negotiations seem to be still undergoing and can last upto October 2023!

Due to this, there is no doubt left that these strikes have caused delays in the release of new shows across various television and streaming networks, which has been a bummer for many new subscribers and adamant viewers across the world. Even though there are many negative sides to this story, there seems to be a positive side emerging from it as well. Recently, many new viewers have had no choice but to opt for the next best route in order to keep their flow of entertainment going.

Can you guess what has happened over the past few weeks? No? Let us tell you:

Suits Season 10: Can we expect a renewal anytime soon?

As one would do, many viewers have started to watch some of their old favorite series again to brush up on them or just to catch up if they missed them during their initial premiere, which might have happened a decade ago. As a result, there has been a sudden rise in the old shows, as they have unexpectedly started to chart streaming platforms, and their old fandom has been revived due to a lack of new content being offered to the fans at the moment.

One such show that has benefited from this is none other than the legal drama television series created and written by Aaron Korsh, Suits! Ever since the show made its debut on Netflix in the week of June 26, 2023, to July 2, 2023, the hype has skyrocketed, as it has gathered 3.1 billion viewer minutes between Netflix and Peacock. These streaming numbers make this series one of the most-watched acquired shows in a single week in streaming history, surpassing the prior record, which was held by Manifest for 2.49 billion minutes!

This is the main reason why many questions about the possibility of Suits Season 10 being revived have started to spread like wildfire on the web! It’s quite surprising that after years of being off-air, the rumors have gained such momentum, causing fans to now once again wonder if there’s a chance for the show to make a remarkable comeback depicting the high-stakes corporate law on screens once again in the new age of broadcasting, where reboots and remakes are happening more than ever.

If you are wondering the same, then we can assure you that you are not alone! We are here to answer all your queries because we don’t want to break your heart, but we have to report the truth. So, let’s begin by clearing the air because the chances of Suits Season 10 happening anytime soon seem pretty minimal, but don’t lose hope it can be changed because the restored interest in the series by the old and new viewers got the attention of some crucial people who can make it a reality!

Recently, executive producer Gene Klein added some fire to the existing fire and hinted that the possibility of it happening in the future wouldn’t be surprising, which is a good update for the Suits fans to be optimistic about, as he also stated the following, as per TV Line:

“You know, I’ve mentioned to Aaron that I keep, in this era of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff, that I’m expecting a call at some point. But I’m not aware of any serious conversations. It’s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if somebody called you someday. But so far, nothing that I’m aware of.” That’s not all! Klein also spoke about getting the cast back together if a revival did happen. He also added:

“As you might remember, it was a complicated dance keeping everybody involved, getting all the actors’ deals done, and keeping them involved through the end of the show. I’d be surprised if we could thread that needle for a reunion, but I’d also be delighted if that happened because [when] you do a show for that long, everybody becomes such a good friend. A lot of us saw each other a month or so ago because there was a Suits-themed picket at Fox one day, and a lot of the writers, some of whom didn’t know each other because people were on Seasons 1 and 2, but not the later seasons, so some of the writers were meeting for the first time. But a lot of the actors came to that as well.”

Although these statements first appear to have some truth and fans were hopeful some good will come out of them, sadly, there is another side to the story. As the queries relating to the renewal began surging among fans on a daily basis, it was the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh, who came forward and seemingly shut down the rumors in a surprise comment to address the question at hand, quote, “Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works,” he wrote on August 20. “Strike would have to end, some network or streamer would have to reach out and then we would have to collectively want to. Which is no small thing … “

Take a look at the post below:

On the other hand,  the creators also addressed their attempts to create another spin-off series like the one they tried before with Pearson, which was sadly discontinued after just one season. Aaron Korsh commented, “I had an idea for a #Suits spinoff that was a prequel exploring young Robert Zane, fresh out of law school in the early ’90s.” he later replied on X. Further adding, “The network wasn’t interested at the time. I would still do that.”

In conclusion, it seems like the case has been closed for good as it was the perfect time to end the series with nine seasons back in 2019, and it’s not far-fetched to say that the possibility of a reboot or reunion episode of Suits seems completely out of the question.

But, as always, there are still a few fans who have been eagerly waiting for their favorite characters to come back to the screen, and with the recent trend of revivals and reboots, along with the nostalgia factor alone, that would be enough to draw in a massive audience. In the end, all we can say is that these rumors will tend to reignite once in a while, but these online chatters should be taken with a grain of salt if not confirmed by the people or network associated with the show!

The series includes nine seasons, which are set at a fictional New York City law firm. It follows Mike Ross, who uses his photographic memory to talk his way into a job as an associate working for successful “closer” attorney Harvey Specter, despite being a college dropout who never attended law school (although he has passed the LSAT multiple times as an illegal proxy).

Suits focus on Harvey and Mike winning lawsuits and closing cases while at the same time hiding Mike’s secret. It also features Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt, a neurotic, manipulative, and unscrupulous financial-law partner. Meghan Markle as ambitious-and-talented paralegal Rachel Zane, Sarah Rafferty as Harvey’s legal secretary and confidante Donna Paulsen, and Gina Torres as the firm’s profit-above-all managing partner, Jessica Pearson.

Throughout its entire run, Suits was nominated for numerous awards, including individual attention for Torres and Adams.

Suits: Where to stream the series?

The series is available to stream on Amazon Prime, Peacock, and Netflix. You can also stream Suits by renting or purchasing on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Google Play, and Vudu. The series is also available through streaming services on iTunes, Vudu, and Xfinity, which are subject to change. In the United Kingdom, it was picked up by Netflix less than 24 hours after its U.S. broadcast. Netflix did not pick up the rights for Ireland. The series has not been released on Blu-ray in the United States or in Canada, but it is available in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

We recommend fans revisit the show and the beloved characters if they haven’t yet and learn about the plot of the last nine seasons.
