Survivor Season 45: What to expect from the new season?
Survivor will launch a new chapter in the beautiful islands of Fiji. These 18 determined new castaways will be divided into three tribes of six and forced to form a new society as they adapt to their physical and social surroundings. The mental and physical challenges force players to choose between personal risk and reward while still navigating the complex social game and attempting to forge alliances to last another day. The individuals competing are from diverse backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor.
This season will be the fifth aired since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which continued to observe the strict safety protocols introduced in season 41.
Thus, it will continue to feature the reduced 26 days of gameplay, with 18 contestants starting in three tribes, as with every season since then. A sneak peek for the season was aired at the finale of the previous season, where it was revealed that Bruce Perreault, a contestant who was medically evacuated in the previous season, would return for the forty-fifth season. Previously, host Jeff Probst offered an open invitation to Perreault to return for a future installment of the show, citing that he “didn’t think that Bruce got his fair share of Survivor.”
Survivor Season 45: Who will be in the cast?
This season will feature 18 new contestants who will battle it out for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize, with only one returning player, Bruce Perreault, who was evacuated on the first day of Survivor 44 due to a serious head injury and was formally invited by Jeff Probst to return to Survivor 45 on the first episode of On Fire with Jeff Probst, which he accepted.
Furthermore, the remaining rumored new cast members for Survivor 45 have also been recently hinted at by Inside Survivor, which includes the following contestants that are divided into three tribes of six members, which are as follows:
The blue tribe is made up of software developer Brando Meyer, Navy veteran and Survivor 44 player Bruce Perreault, law school grad Jake O’Kane, civil rights lawyer Katurah Topps, nurse Kellie Nalbandian, and bartender Kendra McQuarrie.
The red tribe is made up of business student Austin Li Coon, graduate student Drew Basile, martial arts instructor Niko Alsup, sales development rep Dianelys ‘Dee’ Valladares, singer/songwriter J. Maya, and associate attorney Julie Alley.
The yellow tribe is made up of financial analyst Emily Flippen, counselor Hannah Rose, USMC veteran and truck driver Sabiyah Broderick, content producer Brandon Donlon, sales and marketing coach Kaleb Gebrewold, and school principal Sean Edwards.
Furthermore, the series will be hosted by Jeff Probst, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Mark Burnett, Jeff Probst, Matt VanWagenen, Kahaia Pearson, and Jesse Jensen, starting its 44th season in March. It is produced by S.E.G. Holdco.
Survivor Season 45: How many episodes and where to stream?
We would like to emphasize that due to the ongoing 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, the upcoming season will air 90-minute-long episodes to fill the time slots left vacant by scripted shows. This will mark the first time in which the show will have regular episodes that exceed the regular 60 minutes. The official episode titles and synopsis have not been revealed, as there is still a lot of time left for such information to be published.
On the other hand, the official episode count for Survivor is also not known either. But it is expected to include at least 13 episodes, just like the previous seasons.
The series will air exclusively on CBS, and later it will be available to stream anytime on Paramount Plus. Moreover, you can watch Survivor on Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Paramount+, and FuboTV. It is also available to stream by renting or purchasing on iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, and Amazon Instant Video. You are able to stream Survivor for free on Pluto, along with all the prior seasons of this major series on the streaming platforms.
From the toughest challenges to the most unforgettable moments, #Survivor: 44 was an incredible ride.🌴🔥 However, only one was able to outwit, outplay, and outlast the competition. 🏆 #SurvivorFYC pic.twitter.com/AfUFJXW91l

Survivor Season 45: Is there any official teaser available?
The official first look was released by Global TV, which mentions that it will premiere this fall, and the teaser showcases that the show launched a cultural (and ratings) phenomenon and is still arguably the class of the reality genre, what executive producer Mark Burnett prefers to call ‘nonscripted drama.’ It began with contestants being marooned on an island, working together to survive but ultimately trying to ‘outwit, outlast, and outplay’ the others for a $1 million grand prize. The group is whittled down as players are ‘voted off’ until only one remains.
