Taylor Swift’s love story with NFL star Travis Kelce is going all too well, so much so that the couple is all set to take the next big step.
No, there are no wedding bells just yet, but they might be looking into buying a property together.
Just last month, Swift and Kelce were seen on a lunch date at Jojo’s in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. But there might be more than one reason for their visit to Kelce’s home state.
Local outlet Cleveland Scene, citing sources, reported that the couple “visited at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio’s tony eastside suburbs.”
The typical sale price in Cleveland, as per The New York Post, is just $131,675, but the prices soar in these outer suburbs.
Earlier this year, US Weekly had also reported that the Red singer and Kelce are planning to buy a place in Kansas City, where Kelce is based.
“When they have time, they want to look at real estate,” the source said, adding that they’ve “talked about exploring buying a home together.”
While the house-hunting project signals the couple might be thinking of moving in together soon, a walk down the aisle is still not on the cards just yet for the couple, and even an engagement announcement doesn’t seem to be anywhere near close.

Rumors of the couple’s engagement were rife last month when some eagle-eyed fans were convinced that Kelce might have already popped the all-important question – thanks to a close-up of Kelce’s phone lock screen.
On July 25, Kelce hard launched his ultra-famous girlfriend on his IG with a carousel of intimate photos. One photo, in particular, that caught everyone’s eye was where Kelce’s phone was kept on the table. A zoomed-in close-up of the lock screen showed the Cruel Summer singer flashing her hand, sparking speculation that the couple might have quietly gotten engaged.
But the rumors were short-lived, as People noted that the image seems to be from Swift’s July 6, 2024, Eras Tour concert in Amsterdam that Kelce attended, as both are seen wearing the same outfits that they wore to the concert.

Furthermore, E! News revealed she was actually wearing Kelce’s Super Bowl rings in the photo.
But going IG official with Swift wasn’t just Kelce’s call. He had already taken the Grammy winner’s nod.
According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop report, Kelce, 35, asked for Swift’s permission before posting his recent photo dump on Instagram.
“He ran every single image by her,” an insider revealed, adding, “He didn’t want to post anything she wasn’t 100% comfortable with. He respects her privacy—always has.”
“He’s proud of her — but more importantly, he wants her to feel safe,” the insider said.
And while Swift is famously secretive about her personal life, the way Kelce handled the IG post is “part of why she trusts him.”

This is not the first time Swift has called the shots. The Daily Mail pointed out, in an earlier report, that Swift is taking charge in the relationship.
“Their togetherness signals do seem to be becoming less inhibited (for Travis, Taylor was always looking like a smitten teen) but it is still Taylor doing the heavy lifting in terms of showing their love and their romantic narrative off to the world,” body language expert Judi James told Daily Mail while analyzing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s viral PDA session in a Nashville bar.
“It’s probably good that Taylor is in charge of the romantic choreography while Travis looks a little more diffident but happy to be led,” James added. “But it does hint that she’s the more focused and certain one in the relationship.”
The celebrity couple recently made headlines for not attending the funeral of Maureen Maguire, the longtime girlfriend of Kelce’s father, Ed, on Thursday. Maguire died on August 1 at the age of 74.
But this absence comes without any controversy.
The reason behind the couple’s absence, as reported by Page Six, is the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri, where Kelce was pictured on the same day.
The Chiefs tight end was seen training for the NFL’s upcoming season at the camp on Thursday. The new NFL season begins in September.
