The Bad Blood Singer never seems to be short of bad blood with the American President Trump as he is so keen on reigniting their long-term feud.
On this Sunday’s NFL game, Trump became the ‘It factor’ as he got cheered on by both the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs even though he publicly admitted his support for the Kansas City Chiefs whereas Taylor Swift was booed by part of the crowd. The visibly surprised Swift laughed it off, or at least, that’s what she tried to portray.
Taylor Vs Trump is a long-term feud that started when she endorsed Democratic candidates in Tennessee opposing Trump’s associated candidate in 2018. As a reply, he tweeted, “Let’s just say I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now”.
In 2024, Taylor endorsed the former presidential candidate Kamala Harris as she said that she would be voting for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Trump in response slammed Taylor in Truth Social as he posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”. Since then, there has been no direct encounter between the two until Saturday’s NFL game.

Swift was spotted appearing on Saturday’s NFL game to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce featuring in the Kansas City Chiefs versus Philadelphia Eagles game at the Caeser Superdome Stadium, New Orleans. Swift has been receiving hate since she started showing up at NFL games to support Kelce.
However, her appearance in the NFL games significantly increased the number of viewers to a whopping high of 27 million on October 1, 2023, which featured Kansas Chiefs versus New York Jets, and also became the most watched Sunday Game Night.
When Taylor was broadcasted on the Jumbotron video board in Superdome Stadium, the Pro Eagles fans booed her during the first quarterback. The pop star side-eyed the fans, clearly confused about the whole situation.
With the Philadelphia Eagles winning over the Kansas City Chiefs by 40-22, the night caused quite a stir among the fans.

Leaving the game even before halftime, Trump was so quick to take this happenstance to tease Taylor Swift as he took it to his Truth Social account, and wrote “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift”. He then also proceeded to share two videos on his Twitter – him receiving applause at the NFL and the other being Taylor booed on the same night.
Swift has not yet replied to any of the texts, remaining silent from the discussions. Even though there is no public reaction or statements from Swift, she may be feeling hot under the collar behind the screens.
Apart from the hate that she received, we still cannot deny the ‘Taylor Swift Effect’ and her influence alone has changed the narrative and media exposure as the reports suggest that increased female viewership of 53% increased viewers from age groups of 12-17 and 24% increased viewers during the games that she was present.
