Walker is an American action crime television series that aired on The CW on January 21, 2021. Thanks to Anna Fricke for developing the series. It is a reimagining of the 1990s TV show ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ & stars Jared Padalecki as the titular character, Cordell Walker, a widowed father and Texas Ranger who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years.
Walker has gained so much popularity that its prequel : Walker: Independence, has been airing too. The series revolves around a Texas Ranger, Cordell Walker, who returns to Austin after being undercover for two years, to reconnect with his family and investigate the suspicious circumstances surrounding his wife’s death. Since the audience has loved Cordell and the third season is also at the end. They want to know about Walker Season 4.
Is Walker Season 4 renewed or not?
Many of you have even watched Walker for sure. The show came up in the year 2021 in January. Since then, the show has received a lot of fame and support from its fans and viewers. While we have loved it, some haven’t been that much of a fan of the series. The website’s critical consensus states, “Despite decent performances, Walker’s bland storytelling and limited action fails to fill its namesake’s butt-kicking boots.” The third season aired its first episode on October 6, 2022. It will consist of eighteen episodes.
The renewal for Walker season 3 got announced on March 22, 2022. The season begins with Cordell Walker, who has his hands tied – literally. Taken and held captive by an anarchist group, who is determined to break him, Walker must face a painful memory from his past that he’s never shared with anyone and team up with an unexpected ally, Julia if he wants to get out alive. Meanwhile, a tragedy from Walker’s past will resurface, forcing the family to examine old wounds and internal rifts that threaten to tear them apart. After everything the Walkers have been through, are they their own worst enemy?
Since no notice has been given, fans wonder if Walker Season 4 will ever air. We know why such negative thoughts and ratings of the show haven’t been that good. With an average of 0.09 ratings in the 18-49 demographic and 725,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings for the third season. They are a good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Nevertheless, the CW has been known to extend series with low ratings if they have a large fan base or are part of a lucrative franchise, so Walker Season 4 may get the renewal.
