Kesha’s ex may have been in it for the wrong reasons!
The ‘Timber’ hitmaker revealed that a recent unnamed ex-boyfriend of hers was in a relationship with her for the sake of meeting other A-listers in the music industry, particularly Taylor Swift.
Kesha Rose Sebert said in her recent interview with E! News, “I had a feeling that he was in it for the wrong reasons and was a bit of a starf–ker.” She admitted that she decided to test the theory and took one of her close friends to Swift’s recent party instead of him. Sure enough, he “came over the next day and broke up with me.”
Although we never got to know the name of this person, the ‘TiK ToK’ hitmaker was romantically linked with film producer Riccardo Maddalosso in recent times, per People Magazine. The singer had also revealed that her relationship with her ex is the muse for her new bop, ‘Joyride.’ However, the musician has decided to treat this relationship as a yardstick to determine the course of all her future relationships.
The ‘Take It Off’ singer is tuning into self-love instead of jumping on to the next relationship. Kesha told the outlet that she will “enter into a partnership again if someone treats me as well as I treat myself,” before adding, “I kept hearing people say, ‘I’m looking for The One.’ I kept waiting for somebody else to fill that space, and then I just stepped into it myself.”
The Kesha Records label maker further encouraged everyone to be their own boyfriend, sugar daddy, rich husband, best friend, or cheerleader.
Kesha further demonstrated that she was practicing self-love by taking herself on dates, buying herself flowers, and taking solo shopping trips to Saint Laurant. She released ‘Joyride’ on July 4, which coincides with Independence Day, and also signifies the end to her lengthy legal battle with producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald.
The songstress, who was put on the map in the early 2000s after releasing her inter-generational hit, ‘TiK ToK,’ has recently altered the lyrics. Since the song contained a verse glorifying Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, she decided to add a derogatory slur towards the now-accused rapper. While the previous lyric went like, “Wake up in the mornin’ feeling like P. Diddy,” she re-recorded and changed it to, “Wake up in the mornin’ like f*ck P. Diddy.” This is in conjunction with the accusations piling up against the billionaire rapper, with over 150 victims testifying against him.
