White House Plumbers is HBO’s prestigious story based on the Watergate scandal. There has been more adaptation of the Watergate Scandal but White House Plumbers is the latest retelling series streaming on HBO. The story has adapted everything from All the President’s Men of 1976 and a more recent reference is available on STARZ. The first season of White House Plumbers is available on HBO and while it was released as a limited series, fans are still hoping to see another season of White House Plumbers.

The story resonates with the conservative unprofessionalism that runs through American Democracy, showing the relevance to date. Although HBO has no further plans to release season 2 as the series started off as a limited series, as the season finale is to be released soon, we can expect anything to happen. White House Plumbers is obviously based on true events and when the finale is released we’ll be able to relate to the Watergate Scandal with the main characters Gordon Liddy and Howard Hunt.

Well till now HBO has not confirmed anything but since the series is released as a limited series we can expect HBO to discontinue it after season one finale is released. It will be unfair to say it is canceled as HBO never had an intention to continue it for many seasons hence they called it a limited series, more like a short series. But after the release of the season one finale, the scenario will be clearer about the show’s potential future.

White House Plumbers is available on HBO and Sky Atlantic and is based on the true events of the burglary that took place in the Democratic National Committee Headquarters in the Watergate Hotel in 1972 which led to the descent of President Nixon. As you can expect, this is not the only adaptation of the story into a series, there have been other movies and plays about the Watergate Scandal but they have focused more on The Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward and the main political consequences that occurred after the incident but in this series, they focus on the criminal minds of the men who carried out the burglary and nicknamed them as The White House Plumbers. After the season one finale episode, we’ll be able to understand if season 2 is needed or not because the series is tagged as a limited series by HBO, so stay tuned.
