White Noise: When will it release on Netflix?

It is Baumbach’s eleventh narrative feature film and the first not to be based on an original story of his own which will release on December 30, 2022, by Netflix. It will have a time slot of 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET), just like the other original series and movies available on the streaming platform.

In order to receive updates on when the show premieres on Netflix, interested viewers can also enable notifications. The official announcement of the series has now been confirmed by Netflix on the movie’s official Twitter handle, quoting, “Save room for dessert. Based on the book by Don DeLillo, a film by Noah Baumbach, starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig. At once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.

Additionally, College professor Jack Gladney (Adam Driver) and his wife Babette (Greta Gerwig) are each other’s fourth marriage and are parents to four children, who are all experiencing growing pains but are generally happy. After a railway tank car accident outside of town causes what the government deems an “Airborne Toxic Event,” the family must navigate an evacuation order and the dangers outside in order to survive.

White Noise: Where to stream the movie?

White Noise had its world premiere as the opening film of the 79th Venice International Film Festival on August 31, 2022, and also served as the opening film for the 2022 New York Film Festival on September 30. It will also screen at the 31st Philadelphia Film Festival in October 2022. The film will be theatrically released in the United States by Netflix on November 25, 2022, before its streaming release on December 30, 2022. 

When White Noise draws close to its release date, the series will be available exclusively on Netflix, with other series of the same genre also accessible on the streaming platform with a range of membership options.
