BJP candidate E Sreedharan has declared his majority after finding a house for an MLA’s office in Palakkad district. A majority of 10,000 votes is expected in the Metroman constituency. This is not just a statement, Sreedharan said, adding that the BJP has a majority in the polls. E Sreedharan claims that his candidature has made the BJP very popular among the people.
Metroman said it was with the same confidence that he found the building for the MLA’s office before the Assembly election results came out.
‘I am so confident about the election result. When I saw a good house near the head post office in Palakkad town, I thought I could turn it into an office. He was told not to hand it over to anyone else. Nothing else has been decided, including rent. Not the party, I did it. The house I found was comfortable for me to stay in when I was in Palakkad. ‘ E Sreedharan told Manorama News.
Sreedharan had said yesterday that looking at the exit poll data, there is a possibility of a presidential rule in Kerala.
‘According to an exit poll, the NDA will get 35 seats. He has received votes as a metroman. Great adoration for the people here. Do not believe. People have so much respect and love. It is up to the BJP leadership to decide who will be the next chief minister. Sreedharan said.
Sreedharan had said that Sabarimala was not an election issue in the constituency and the main discussions were on development issues and how to bring in industries.
