The mother of the Walayar girls said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was behind the Facebook post posted by Advocate Harish Vasudevan against her. They alleged that it was a conspiracy on behalf of the Chief Minister and that the Chief Minister was behind the post. They also informed that a complaint has been lodged with the Walayar police against Harish Vasudevan.
The contest in Dharmadatta was not to become an MLA but as a sign of protest. The reason for such a post is that Dharmadatta was contesting the elections against the Chief Minister. Action should be taken in case of suicide. Walayar’s mother alleged that Harish Vasudevan’s allegations were completely untrue. It is baseless to say that the accused in the case came and stayed at home. Those who have not come here at least once to know the truth or seek information can say anything. Those who criticized the government and DySP Sojan when the accused were released in 20/9 have now turned their backs on themselves. Walayar’s mother said that it was a conspiracy. The contest in Dharmadatta was not to become an MLA but as a sign of protest.
Harish Vasudevan, a lawyer, criticized the mother of the Walayar girls. Harish Vasudevan said that he was in pain over the Walayar incident but when the history of the case is examined, it is clear that there were mistakes on the part of the mother. Harish Vasudevan alleges that the parents did not complain when the first child was hanged and that the mother did not speak even though she saw one accused molesting the girl and another time the father molested the girl.
Harish Vasudevan asked why the mother had taken a stand in favour of the accused as she had never had any complaint about the investigation of the case till the matter was taken up politically. When we read in the quotes about the mother of the girls we feel like going and killing them. Harish Vasudevan said that he would pray that such a mother would not have any more children.
Criticism of the reference was also rising on social media. Harish Vasudevan’s remark was made while contesting as the mother candidate of Walayar girls against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Dharmadam in the Assembly elections. Critics said the reference was made shortly before the election for political purposes.
